Fire engineering specialist, The FDS Group announces two new MDs

Michel Wizenberg becomes managing director of FDS Consult following the changes while former senior contracts manager, Nick Waterfield has been promoted to managing director of FDS (Fire Design Solutions). Current managing directors, Andy Riley and Gerard Sheridan, will remain with the group as directors and will now take on technical and business development roles. The changes are pivotal to the company’s plans to capitalise on its market-leading status, which has seen the company grow by over 600% over the past 5 years. 

Since joining fire engineering specialist, FDS Consult, just two years ago, Michel Wizenberg has been instrumental in expanding the company’s impressive client base, improving turnover and developing an expert team of fire engineers. 

Michel will take responsibility for further developing the team to build on FDS Consult’s innovative approach to fire safety, which is renowned in the sector for accommodating client requirements and architectural design objectives while minimising costs and maximising safety. 

Nick Waterfield’s promotion to managing director of the group’s fire safety design and system installation department, FDS (Fire Design Solutions), will ensure that the company’s clients benefit from his many years’ experience in senior fire and security roles. Nick’s clear focus on excellent client service has already seen him make significant improvements to the division’s efficiency and client relations processes.
