NEW GERDA Certified CPD Webinar “Failing to plan is planning to Fail”

Our NEW certified CPD webinar outlines potential opportunities to those responsible for building fire safety, providing an insight as to why information is so important to the Fire & Rescue Service attending an incident, and how the correct information is critical to a ‘successful’ outcome at a fire.

The Grenfell Inquiry Phase 1 Report and the Draft Fire Safety Bill both highlight the importance of the provision of a Premises Information Box complete with the Emergency Response Pack, (ERP). This is so that attending fire crews can utilise the plans and information provided, to assist them in their response to the incident, which in turn should reduce the impact upon residents, property, the building and emergency responders, in the event of a fire. “Failing to Plan is Planning to Fail” certified CPD webinar explains what type of information should be provided, in what format and why this is essential to the responding fire crews.

Objectives:

  • Gain a better understanding of why the information you provide, is so important to the Fire & Rescue Service and how the correct information is critical to a ‘successful’ outcome at a fire
  • Understand the benefits of quality information for those who are responsible for buildings and their residents and the emergency services
  • Recognising what is and isn’t relevant to attending fire crews.
