DEFINITION:
Security Systems is a means or method by which something is secured through a system of interworking components and devices. For example access doors and barriers uses the security system in which can be programmed to open if a fire alarm is activated. This secures a Means of Escape and allows people to evacuate the premises. Furthermore if CCTV or burglar alarms detect an intruder then the Means of Escape can be locked shut to contain the intruder. These are complex systems that can provide excellent fire safety protection.
