The batteries are self contained within a stainless steel box and situated neatlywithin the lift shaft above the top landing floor entrance. The batteries areable to run the lift for well over 100 journeys in the event of a power failureand the transition of power from the single phase primary supply to thebatteries is both smooth and instantaneous.

MorrisVermaport Ltd are the sole U.K agents for the Ecocell and, in conjunction withtheir Italian manufacturers , have spent the last 7 years developing and finetuning the Ecocell for the U.K market.
