The FireStopping by Norseal range of pipe wraps and collars have been specifically designed to fit around pipes that penetrate concrete and masonry walls and floors, reinstating their fire resistance. They work on any plastic flammable pipes used in soil, waste, drainage and HVAC and are highly effective yet simple to install in any pre-cast, core cut or any alternatively prepared opening.

The Pyroplex Pipe wraps in the Firestop range are particularly easy to fit. They contain Pyroplex intumescent graphite within a self-adhesive sleeve and are suitable for pipes from 55 – 160mm. The Norseal Firestop range of pipe wraps require no secondary fixings, so they can be positioned tight into a corner or against a wall where it is often difficult or impossible to fit a traditional fire collar.  In the event of fire, the wraps expand rapidly,  crushing the pipe and filling the floor or wall void to stop the progression of fire and smoke through the building. Suitable for new build and repair and refurbishment projects, Pyroplex Pipe Wraps from Norseal are completely maintenance free and offer up to 240 minute fire resistance in accordance with BS 476-20 and BS EN 1366-3.
