ARC to launch new product for high-rise building at London Build 2021

ARC Building Solutions Ltd, a specialist manufacturer of cavity fire barriers and cavity closers, will be returning to the road next month for London Build 2021. As well as showcasing its comprehensive range of products, ARC is delighted to be officially launching its ARC OSCB – a brand new solution for high-rise buildings – at the event, which is taking place at Olympia London on 17-18 November.

Taking to Stand E44, ARC’s friendly team of experts will be on hand to provide insight and guidance on its products, which have been designed to stop the spread of fire and heat and improve the thermal performance of party wall cavities – including its brand-new ARC OSCB, specifically developed for high-rise construction.

ARC OSCB (open state cavity barrier) offers a solution for where ventilation is required, such as within rainscreen cladding systems. Cavity barriers should be installed in external wall cavities in line with every separating wall and floor; ARC can provide variants for both 25mm and 44mm air gaps. The new solution will also be available in a choice of performance options, providing up to 120 minutes fire integrity and insulation.

What’s more, ARC OSCB is suitable for use horizontally and can be combined with ARC Fire Stop Slab, installed vertically, to provide a complete cavity barrier solution.
