Fire Safety Services Expands Bedford Head Office

On 21st November the Mayor of Bedford, Dave Hodgson officially opened Fire Safety Services newly acquired premises in Kempston, Bedford and visited the refurbished and expanded Head Office facility.

The expansion of its Head Office demonstrates Fire Safety Services continuing investment in Bedford and its continued growth and increased employment opportunities in the Borough.

Fire Safety Services provides quality fire protection services throughout the UK and supplies, commissions and maintains fire safety equipment.

The company currently employs over 40 staff in its Bedford Head Office and plans to expand its local workforce to support its expanding service centres network across the country.

David Murfitt, Managing Director at Fire Safety Services said “Bedford is a fantastic location in which to invest due to its quality transport links, infrastructure and quality of people available to fulfill the additional roles we are creating by our continuous expansion. Bedford Borough has been attracting new businesses to the borough over the period we have been operating and this in turn has offered us growth opportunities. We will further our investment in the borough in the coming years.”

The Mayor of Bedford Borough, Dave Hodgson, said: “It is reassuring that this business, which provides fire safety support and advice, is evidently flourishing in our borough.”

Mayor Dave continued: “There are many world-class businesses already in Bedford and we have recently welcomed Morrisons, B&Q and Waitrose. The £8.8 million bus station regeneration project is now also underway; these are very exciting times.”
