Kentec announces Mike Estall as Senior Specification Development Manager

29 May 2024 …. Kentec Electronics, the leading manufacturer of innovative life safety solutions, appointed Mike Estall as Senior Specification Development Manager.

A seasoned industry expert, Mike began his career over 25 years ago with a leading UK fire alarm system integrator. He brings extensive experience in building solutions, fire systems, and integration with other building platforms to Kentec and will be sharing his knowledge through a series of CPD courses for Kentec customers and partners, the first of which will be delivered at the NAHFO conference in June.

Prior to Kentec, Mike worked as the Director of Fire Engineering at the TenBroeke Engineering Company, and Specification Development Director at BBC Fire — Marlow Fire & Security. His extensive experience includes designing fire alarm and safety systems for a wide range of environments and technical needs, developing detailed site surveys, writing comprehensive specifications in line with UK standards and compliance, and conducting fire risk assessments. He is a member of the IFE (Institute of Fire Engineers) and the IFSM (The Institute of Fire Safety Managers).

Mike Estall will be at the NAHFO conference between June 3-5, where he is delivering a CPD session on BS7273-4. For those unable to make it to the conference, Mike will hold a series of online CPD sessions throughout the year which will be available on the Kentec Electronics’ events page.
