Neurology Centre protected by FP PLUS

This New Generation FP PLUS cable with Insudite insulation offers excellent resistance to damage whilst also being approved for fire detection and fire alarm critical signal paths to BS 5839-1:2002+A2:2008 for enhanced applications.

FP Plus is manufactured by Prysmian near Southampton at Eastleigh and Southampton based electrical contractors Reavey & Son carried out the cable installation work.

In addition to approvals to BS7629-1 and BS6387 Category CWZ, FP PLUS has received BASEC and LPCB approval to BS5839-1:2002 for enhanced applications. This includes approval to BS EN 50200 Class PH120 and the new integrated fire, shock and water test BS8434-2 for 120 minutes. All Prysmian FP PLUS cables are manufactured under an ISO 9001 Quality System certified by BASEC.
